Welcome to THAT CAN'T BE CONCRETE.COM!
We specialize in decorative concrete and acid stained concrete flooring. We began our business in December 2006 as a result of building a new home and were trying to decide how we would cover our floors. We realize there are lots of options available in which to do this and after careful thought decided that we should let our concrete be our living surface. After making this decision we started searching for an acid stain flooring contractor that could score and acid stain our concrete slab, however, after several inquiries we found that there weren't any available in this area that could do a professional job with good references without spending more than alternative flooring. After more research we concluded that we should attend a workshop/seminar and learn to acid stain our floors ourselves. We have recently completed that workshop and are now certified installers of the Engrave-A-Crete system using unique tools and acid stains to create beautiful concrete floors. We now have started adding a few photographs to our website of stained concrete which you can view by clicking the Photo Gallery link in the left panel or you can click on this link www.Engrave-A-Crete.com to see some of the tools we use or click this link www.kemiko.com to see photos of stained concrete.
What we do:
Through the installation procedures we were taught we take ordinary concrete and transform it into a beautiful work of art. This is achieved by using tools that are patented by Engrave-A-Crete, Inc. There are an unlimited number of designs that can be cut into the concrete by using templates or your imagination to create designs. If you have a favorite sports team, pet, or hobby a template can be created then cut into the concrete. Prior to the engraving we use a variety of acid stains to color the concrete to match your personal choices. You can have lines or no lines, these could be in the form of a brick pattern, flagstone pattern, cobblestone pattern, tile pattern or various grout-line patterns. You can have beautiful borders the possibilities are endless! Let your imagination and ours create these works of art for you and you will see that stainded concrete is an affordable alternative to carpet, wood, or various tile types. Initially we will be operating our business in Arkansas but would be willing to travel anywhere if the job warrants.
